A man in his 50s has died following a collision with an e-scooter in the Riverstown area of County Sligo on Wednesday evening. The collision occurred at approximately 8.10 p.m. in the townland of Rusheen, Riverstown. A male (aged in his 50s), who was travelling on an e-scooter, was fatally injured when he was struck by a van. The L1303 road is currently closed in Rusheen pending a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
